Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 1 August 2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Cheap Interstate Moving Company.
1. Bookings & Payment
• A deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
• The remaining balance must be paid on or before the moving date.
• All quotes are based on the information provided. Additional items or access issues may incur extra charges.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
• Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
• Rescheduling is allowed subject to availability.
3. Customer Responsibilities
• Ensure all goods are ready for pickup at the agreed time.
• Be present or have someone present during pickup/delivery.
• Provide accurate inventory and addresses.
4. Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
• Weather, traffic, mechanical failure, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Damage & Insurance
• We take the utmost care while handling goods.
• Basic transit insurance is included. For full coverage, we recommend you arrange additional insurance.
• Claims for damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
6. Governing Law:
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
